PLANT OIL.
People are quick to say that cooking oil is not good for your health but there is a lot more to it.
It is widely believed that sunflower oil is not good for your health.
This is not completely true because if it is used in moderation it can be good for your health.
This is preferable as the body requires a certain daily amount of unsaturated fat. It is ideal to use sunflower oil in cooking or baking instead of using butter. Butter has more saturated fats which are not too healthy for our bodies. If you can substitute butter with healthy cooking oil in your daily cooking routine then you could make a difference in your health. This could have an effect in terms of lowering the risk of heart disease or cholesterol.
Sunflower oil is also low in cholesterol. Most of them have no cholesterol at all.

Plant Oil is Important.
Plant oil is usually extracted from different plants, especially seeds. Just like most fats, oils help to make food palatable and can be used for purposes of cooking. There are many varieties of plant oils today and there seems to be no end in sight. In local supermarkets today, there are different oils that you can choose to purchase because they are readily available.

When you are buying plant oil, you need to consider how far it really is from the original form. In most cases, when refined oils are being created, they have to follow different steps. This includes mashing, bleaching, deodorizing, stripping, refining under high temperatures, chemical alterations, and so on.

Most plant oils are in liquid form and are rarely in solid form. When the weather gets cloudy and cold, the oil may become cloudy. The exceptions to this rule are coconut and some butter because of the fat content that is quite highly saturated. If you notice that oil is solid, it may be an indication that it has been altered chemically, especially through hydrogenation.

The most popular plant seeds,

  • Flax seeds ( A good source of dietary fiber and omega-3 fatty acids, including alpha-linolenic)
  • Hemp seeds ( They have a rich nutritional profile)
  • Pumpkin seeds ( pumpkin seeds are rich in vitamins and minerals like manganese and vitamin k, both of which are important in helping wounds heal).
  • Walnut seeds (They also have a high amount of omega-3 fatty acids, also lower your cholesterol overall)
Some of  the higher monosaturated oil,

  • Olive
  • Almond
  • Palm
  • Peanuts.
Some highly unsaturated oils,
  • Sunflower oil
  • Peanut oil
  • walnut oil
  • corn oil.
One aspect of improving our eyesight is ensuring that we use healthy oils that benefit our general health. For example, we can replace unhealthy oil, that we use for cooking such as vegetable oil with healthy extra virgin olive oil. When it comes to choosing healthy oil for cooking numerous studies confirm that extra virgin olive oil has multiple health benefits.

Olive Oil is good for the eyes because it is low in saturated fat and contains the vision nutrients Lutein and Zeaxanthin vital for improving vision health.

The vegetable oil aisle in supermarkets can become an expensive unhealthy minefield. The name: 'Vegetable oil' sounds healthy, but it is not. Best oils to use: Cold pressed extra virgin olive oil. It has healthy fats, helps to lower cholesterol, lowers blood pressure, and improves heart health. Coconut and macadamia oils have many health benefits and are best for cooking and frying, they are stable at high temperatures.

Avocado is a delicious buttery oil, that comes straight from natural avocado flesh. It is full of good fats, high in nutrients, and has similar qualities as virgin olive oil. Such oils have omega 3 needed for optimal health.
Better health.

One of the suggestions from the experts is that we start eating more butter but of course not in large quantities. You have become so accustomed to margarine that almost everyone uses it instead of butter. Also,o it is much cheaper and has a better taste than butter, and it spread better than butter too.

But we don't understand the poisonous results of eating margarine. And if you began to eat more butter, it still would mean that you would have to limit your intake of it. There is only one drawback to this solution. Most people will not limit their intake and they will find themselves becoming obese with the increased consumption of butter.

Instead of using trans fat, you could use some saturated vegetable oil which is much healthier. Healthier oils such as palm oil, kernel, or coconut oil can be used as an alternative to trans fat oils. These can be found in your local health food store.
When it comes to maintaining healthy eyesight one of the steps that you can take to accomplish this goal is to add Olive Oil to your cooking. Whether or not you are making a delicious cheese omelet or cooking fish or salmon, choose Olive oil over vegetable oils or canola oils. Making this change to your diet will not only improve your heart health but will improve your vision health as well.
